In Loving Memory
Joe Axton, owner of Axton's Bass City, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008. Joe was well known to
all fishermen for his many contributions to the industry which included bring tournaments to Lake Fork, serving on the Texas
Parks & Wildlife Commission, furnishing lodging and guides to our military men and women and their families returning
from overseas at his expense, and many more attributes and contributions too numerous to mention. Joe's memory will always
live on Lake Fork!
